"woman-profession" aims to generate income & job opportunities in the today dinamic civil-construction sector, for women of low family income or in risk condition
Institution encharged
IMMEL (Institute for a Better World) is a private NGO, not aiming profits, that develops consultancy and help for less favoured communities, so as to fomment professional qualification and job creation & wealth
The following other institutions are part of this venture: Senai (who will give classes w/o charge) and Associação Construir Melhor, linked to the Odebrecht Foundation, and managed by a French NGO, who will make available premises for the courses and will promote training programs in sites of her responsability.
People benefited
40 ladies from Comunidade de Estância Azul, in Valença (BA), for six months, being trained to become multitask maçons. Academic work should review human values & citizenship
Investment
For the 2011-2012 tenure, IAAF will support the project with R$ 48 th.
